City of Pelham

The 2019 National Theatre on Ice Competition will be held at the Pelham Civic Complex and Ice Arena in Pelham, Alabama. The city of Pelham is twenty miles south of Birmingham, in the beautiful foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.  Our city also offers world-class venues for golf, tennis and ice-skating, served up with an extra helping of southern hospitality.   Oak Mountain State Park is located just off I-65 and Cahaba Valley Road, which is just a 2 mile drive down a beautiful canopied road from the Pelham Civic Complex and Ice Arena.  At the park, you can ride horses or paddle boats, go fishing, swim, hike or camp in your RV.  Be sure to experience the Double Oak Trail if you trail bike – it is one of the 52 must ride trails in the world! Our city also has a Blue Ribbon Library, a Senior Center and five city parks.
